My stint as a concert photographer
As a creative with a deep love of live music and underground music scenes, picking up a camera and capturing these moments was a natural step. During my time in Taiwan I was a dedicated and passionate concert photographer and scene documentarian.
Auckland-Based Album Artwork Designer
As an Auckland-based graphic designer specialising in music artwork, I work closely with artists and their labels from initial concept through to print-ready and digital-ready files. Whether it’s a vinyl gatefold, a CD digipak, or assets optimised for streaming platforms, I handle the full creative process.
I was selected to judge the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards, now the Aotearoa Music Awards, for Best Album Cover, bringing an expert eye to creating standout album covers in the New Zealand music scene.
While living in Taiwan I developed and ran GigGuide.tw, a platform dedicated to championing live music and artists in Taiwan, featuring gig listings, live photos, album reviews, and scene reports. I also turned my hand to music promotion, putting on tours there for New Zealand bands Die!Die!Die!, So So Modern and Wax Chattels as well as a number of shows with Taiwanese artists.
